The Spurs won their 6th consecutive game and 16th of their last 17 with a 5-2 decision over the Mooseheads. Leading the Spurs to victory was port-sider Alexei Ponikarovsky, who notched his 15th and 16th markers of the season. Also scoring for the Spurs were Tkachuk (27), Sakic (27) and Marian Hossa (28).Radivojevic (8) and Zetterberg (28) netted the two goals for the 'heads. Netminder Luongo of the 'heads had a tough game in giving up 5 goals on 31 shots. His counterpart on the Spurs, Martin Brodeur, stopped 25 of 27 shots in recording the victory.
