The Spurs squeaked by the Moon 2-1, disappointing Fidel immensely. Marian Hossa (46) and Keith Tkachuk (36) scored for the Spurs with Sakic assisting on both tallies. Tkachuk's was on the power play and the game winner. Lighting the lamp for the Moon was Eric Staal (27). The Spurs had the SOG advantage in the contest 45-24 in giving Moon netminder DiPietro a workout.Dasher Notes
Next up for the Spurs are the defending CCHL Champion Dayton Musicmen on Wednesday night at the Soundstage in Dayton. A 'must win' for both clubs.
